Steps to Submit Your Application for Temporary Selection
1. Completing the Application Form
- Begin by filling out the Application for temporary selection — Temporary Foreign Worker Program form, available in PDF format.
- Don't forget to sign the "Authorization given to employer" section to allow your employer to represent you with the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI).
2. List of Required Documents
Ensure you provide the following documents along with your application form to enable your employer to follow up on your Québec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) application:
- Completed and signed contract of employment (in French)
- Copy of relevant pages of your passport
- Detailed and up-to-date curriculum vitae
- Copies of diplomas and academic transcripts
- Attestation of relevant work experience
- Previous residence permits (if applicable)
3. Payment of Fees
You or your employer may pay the processing fees for the application. If you're covering the costs, refer to the current fee structure and make the payment in Canadian funds using the designated payment methods.
4. Sending Documents to Your Employer or Representative
Send the completed application form and all supporting documents to your employer or representative, who will be responsible for submitting your application.
5. Waiting for the Decision
Once your application is submitted and if your job offer is accepted, they will receive:
- Attestation letter for your Québec Acceptance Certificate
- Confirmation letter from Service Canada and MIFI
